Image Editor Pro (“the Extension”) is a browser extension for Google Chrome that lets you capture a web page and annotate, crop, or apply basic filters directly in your browser. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how the Extension handles data.

WHAT DATA THE EXTENSION COLLECTS

• Screenshots you take – the pixel data of a page you capture.
• Local settings – tool preferences such as last-used drawing color, brush size, and export format (PNG/JPG/WebP).
No other information (e.g., browsing history, personal identifiers, cookies, or analytics) is collected.

2. HOW DATA IS STORED & PROCESSED

• All image processing occurs locally in your browser’s memory (RAM).
• Local settings are saved with Chrome’s storage API on your device only.
• We do not transmit, sync, or back-up screenshots or settings to any server. There is no remote code, analytics library, or tracker embedded in the Extension.

4. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES

We never share, sell, or transfer any data (images or settings) to third-party services or affiliates. There are no advertisements, analytics beacons, or marketing pixels in the Extension.

5. DATA RETENTION

• Screenshots – held only in memory for the duration of your editing session; discarded once you close or refresh the editor.
• Local settings – persist on your device until you uninstall the Extension or clear Chrome extension data.

6. SECURITY MEASURES

The Extension runs entirely within Chrome’s sandbox environment. No external network requests are made by default. We routinely review our code for dependency vulnerabilities and follow Google’s Manifest V3 best practices.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Image Editor Pro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.

8. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR / CCPA)

Because the Extension stores everything locally and never transmits personal data, typical data-access or deletion requests do not apply. Uninstalling the Extension immediately removes all stored settings from your device. If you have additional questions, contact us at the email below.

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will change the “Last updated” date above and publish the new version in the Chrome Web Store listing. Continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
