The Challenge Behind WeGotEveryTool
Most free utility websites — JSON formatters, image compressors, regex testers — silently upload user data to a backend even when the operation could run client-side. Privacy-conscious users (developers especially) can't paste production data into a random tool site without exposure risk. The category needed a default-private alternative with comparable feature breadth.
How We Built WeGotEveryTool
We built WeGotEveryTool with a client-side-only architecture. Every tool — JSON formatter, regex tester, image compressor, PDF merger, password generator, AI prompt cleaner — runs in the browser via JavaScript or WebAssembly. The site has no backend that receives user data. Tools are organised into categories (text, dev, image, PDF, AI, math, conversion, generators), each with searchable listings. The PWA shell makes the entire toolkit usable offline once cached. No signup, no rate limit, no upload.
