Our Berlin automation work targets four operational pillars common to startups and scale-ups: hiring pipeline, financial operations, customer lifecycle, and internal reporting. Hiring pipeline automation: job posted on Greenhouse/Ashby → automatically syndicated to LinkedIn, Indeed, and Berlin-specific boards (Berlin Startup Jobs) → applications scored and tagged by source → interview scheduling automated via Calendly/Cal.com with automatic interviewer assignment based on availability and role → interviewer receives a Slack reminder 15 minutes before with candidate brief → after interview, feedback form auto-sent in Slack → when all interviewers submit feedback, hiring manager receives aggregated scorecard → offer stage triggers Personio onboarding workflow and IT provisioning (Google Workspace account, Slack channels, Notion access). Financial operations automation: Stripe payment received → invoice generated in Lexoffice or sevDesk → DATEV-compatible export created → monthly revenue recognized per German HGB accounting standards → bank reconciliation automated via Plaid or direct banking API → monthly financial package auto-generated in Google Sheets with MRR, burn rate, runway, and department-level spend → distributed to leadership team and investors on a schedule. We specifically address the DATEV bridge: most Berlin startups use cloud-native accounting tools (Lexoffice, sevDesk, Papierkram) but their Steuerberater (tax advisor) works in DATEV. The automation handles the DATEV export formatting, period-end adjustments, and delivery to the tax advisor's DATEV portal. For customer lifecycle: trial signup → welcome email sequence (Resend or Customer.io) → product usage tracking (Segment/Mixpanel) → trigger-based onboarding nudges → trial-to-paid conversion workflow → customer success handoff for high-value accounts → churn risk detection based on usage decline → renewal management.
