We optimize every interaction for low-data consumption: text-first responses (no unnecessary images or videos unless requested), compressed media when visual content is needed, and conversation flows that complete tasks in minimal message exchanges. This is not just UX polish — for a prepaid data user, every kilobyte matters. We build bots that understand South African communication patterns: voice note responses (South Africans send voice notes at higher rates than most markets, so we integrate speech-to-text to process voice messages as input), multilingual switching (a customer might start in English and switch to Afrikaans or Zulu), and SA-specific shorthand ("pls" for please, "hw mch" for how much, "tnx" for thanks). Technical integration connects to South African payment systems: Yoco (card payments), SnapScan, Zapper, and bank EFT.
